One of my great passions in life, along with contemporary dance, is modern poetry.
This guy here, he has such a way with words. After watching this award winning masterpiece oh, I don't know how many times, I was inspired to write - for the first time - my very own piece.

Oh pointy bird
So pointy pointy,

Anoint my head
Anointy nointy.

It's obviously still in its draft version, but I think I may have something - a previously undiscovered gift ?

Magnús Sigurðsson (f. 1984 á Ísafirði) er íslenskt ljóðskáld og þýðandi. Frumraun hans var þýðing á íslensku bókinni The Pisan Cantos eftir Ezra Pound sem Háskólaútgáfan gaf út árið 2007. Þýðingin hlaut námsstyrkinn og Landsbankastyrkinn.

Fyrsta ljóðabók Sigurðssonar, Fiðrildi, mynta og spörfuglar Lesbíu (2008), hlaut ljóðaverðlaun Tómasar Guðmundssonar. Árið 2013 hlaut Sigurðsson hin virtu ljóðaverðlaun Jóns úr Vör. Meðal þýðinga Sigurðssonar má nefna ljóðasafn Norðmannsins Tor Ulven, Steingerð vængjapör (2012), og spænska þýðingu úr íslensku, ásamt Laíu Argüelles Folch, á frumkvæðisbók Ingibjargar Haraldsdóttur, La cabeza de la mujer (2011). Í haust gaf Sigurðsson út fjórðu ljóðabókina Krummafótur og þýðingu á ljóðum Adelaide Crapsey, Bláar hýsintur.

Wow, this guy reached out to me yesterday offering to sell me a BP 16610. He must of seen my WTB ad and thought I would be an easy target. After following our forum advice on "Always purchase on the seller not the watch" I told him due to his low post count and limited history he would need to get certified before we could move forward. Well to my surprise as I contemplated on opening a help desk ticket today to shed some light I saw that his user name has been banned. After searching his name here, I saw he's a banned scammer. What a piece of turd, I'm glad I went with my gut feeling on this one.

I must say that I was hesitant to report as I did not want to add to the mods workload…but I understand now that the risk avoidance is the priority. So will do now.

I just want to reiterate what is said so many times on the forum.

If you get PMs from guys like this. Please REPORT them. Send a member of staff a PM. This is never a waste of our time. This is what RWI is for. The harder we make it for scammers to operate the less likely it will be that they bother with RWI members. There are a number of these guys operating with similar MOs and yes they do catch out unsuspecting members.

Never buy anything from an unsolicited PM even if it is in response to a WTB. Protect yourself as much as you can by getting them to post a reserved sale.

There are checks and balances built into the forum of which the Mods work hard on. Play by the rules and keep shit like that out of our forum.
