Welcome @JACKIEX. This has taken quite a while to sort out, but we're here now.
Back in March you sold this watch to a member, after agreeing on the selling price of just over 1650 euros you shipped the watch head along with some other memorabilia to an address in Austria.
Unfortunately for one reason or another the parcel was not delivered and Austria post returned the parcel to sender - you.
You then opened a Helpdesk ticket claiming that the box was returned to you without the watch head and Zippo lighter inside, only the memorabilia was in the box.
It's worth pointing out at this point that you hadn't actually informed your buyer that the parcel had been returned, minus the watch head and Zippo, but you went ahead and opened a HDT first.
You uploaded some pics of the 'empty' box, as you claim you received it. You stated you didn't notice any signs of the box being opened before you opened it yourself - no signs of it being torn, or cut.
You presented the series of pics as if it were a story you were telling, evening taking a pic as you turned the box upside down to show there was no watch head inside.
It was all very convincing - if there was no watch head inside the box in your pics then it must have been stolen some where along it's journey - right ?.
Looking at the box we can see there's a good view of 5 sides of that box - the 6th side isn't really visible, but it's only a small section of card. There's no sign of that box being cut with a blade, no sign it was torn open anywhere - you've used duct tape to seal it on all the edges, that's pretty strong stuff.
The only signs of the box being open are from the scissor marks left by yourself when you cut along the outer edge.
I asked you if there had been any marks, or cuts visible on the box before you opened it, and you uploaded this pic, which you say is what the box looked like before you opened it.
Doesn't really look like anybody but yourself opened that box to remove the watch head and Zippo.
You refused to partially refund the buyer, you refused to even discuss it. You also never once offered to ship him the other items that were inside the box - he paid for them as part of the deal, they belong to him but you kept them anyway.
At one point you claimed that PayPal had refunded him and provided a fake screen shot showing a full refund.
You've lied from the beginning about what happened to the watch, and have even claimed multiple times that you 'have lost out just as much as the buyer because you too have lost the watch'.
Even if your story were true you haven't lost out on anything - you sold the watch to someone and they sent you money for it. Even if that watch had been stolen you lost nothing but you tried to portray yourself as a victim anyway.
After a very long and thorough investigation by the buyers bank they were able to recover his funds. So we're back to where we started, you have the watch and all the memorabilia, the buyer has his 1650 euros.
I do love a good happy ending.

Hi guys, I’m selling this rare beauty. It’s a wonderful piece, but getting some funds for a project here at our house/renewing the garden, so extra funds is a nice thing and I want to pass this on for somebody else who can enjoy this beauty. It's a vintage watch, so it also looks vintage...
