Tell us more about this beauty
Standard BP watch .
I aged the mid case dulled the polished areas and softened the edges
enlarged the lug holes slightly, but didnt go to 1.3 as because of lug hole placement
dirtied up the lume on the dial and hands.
I weathered the dial surface to give it a sun bleached aged appearance that really makes it pop
chemically aged the insert and then rubbed it a bit for wear effects.

I have started to think of and mod these watches more like I am building a detailed model than a watch . as alot of the aging and detailing techniques are borrowed from modeling
thanks for the kind words

Wow, for a more or less standard BP this piece look nice. Well made with this result and the photo skills are doing the rest.
The crown is also "stock BP" ?

Yup no upgrades to the parts. it came as is.
I used to own a bp 1675 years ago and they have really upped their game and improved their dial , hands and crown , the crown guards arent great but everything else is good for the price.

the only disappointment was that they went with the wire retaining clip on the bezel assembly instead of what they had which was more gen like . except they had a gasket. . Kind how the bezel assembly is on teh new raffles case set

No clue! Just used the ones that came with the watch. Got a link to correct ones?
The correct 2.0mm “fat” springbars fit your genuine end links and the tips will be flush with the lugholes when fitted into case. They look like this…

You could Google for several sources but here’s one.

That's a BP dial? Good to know they ditched the applied indices.
But how did you age the dial and hands so well? The color and texture are great. Not bright white, yet not overly yellow or orange. Any chance you'd share your trade secrets of lume aging?

Just received my aged 1675 from @369mafia this is the second watch I have gotten from him. the first was a purchase of a 5113 that he built and now the aged 1675. just gorgeous. starting Point was WM factory base 1675 and then he worked his vintage aging magic on it. I suspect I may have to start a ‘show me your @369mafia builds’ thread in the near future. Thank you for a beautiful watch.

EDIT:tip that I have found on Rolex forums,

“One thing you can try if the insert is genuine, especially with older inserts, is to flatten it out a little from the top side with a round pencil or similar item to restore it back to its original shape. Roll the pencil across the top while applying pressure to flatten it some”

I understand that through photos it is difficult to see if something is original, I will build a gmt 1675 with milk case

I wanted an aged insert and I found some "gen" ones at a good price, I liked this one but I'm not sure about its authenticity.

He is a good seller but I prefer to ask if you can guide me on what to look for and if this one looks original to you.

If it is original, there would be no problem “fitting" in milk case?

Thanks
