Have you read the thread itself? You will see the same names coming up again and again in terms of talented builders.

Read this thread start to finish.

Gather pictures (of gens or reps) of what variant you like/ educate yourself on movements/ dials/ hands/ inserts/ crowns/ crownguards/ bracelets etc. And build a list of what are ‘must haves’ and what you can ignore.

once you have done that reach out to a few of the vintage Rolex modders on here. Some are EU based/ some are US based/ some ROW. Be clear about what you want, and what budget you have. You’ll be glad you educated yourself in the long run-it’s all part of the joy of it.

I still know next to nothing compared to the majority here, but I know so so so much more than I did when I first joined. This forum really is an absolute goldmine of knowledge, but you do have to put in a few hours of reading/ comparing etc. The members here are gold too, but reading up will mean that when you do commission something, you’ll be a lot more informed about what is/ is not possible for your budget.
