Old one is better.

Omega font on the new looks bad.

omega font & logo are both metallic and not printed as good as I could see it ( in person).... looks not too good to me.

the red seamaster font is nice though.

Hmm.. I think

1) The waves are distorting the image.
2) The picture is not as close up or as good of quality as the older one

All I know is that I have seen both of these at the AD and IMO, the second one is much improved..

Saw them both at the AD too. You liked the a bit red shiny metallic logo?

Old and new are equally lovely in their own way.

If they got the new one spot on, I think they would sell by the shed load.

I won't hold my breath....

:)

It's very nice....except that the bars connecting "OMEGA" make it look cheap. I can't understand why they went that route.

Yea i think the photo's I posted make the new one look a little too "teal". The hi-res shots posted do a much better job showing the details such as the improved wave and rich blue color

Why have half the watch name at the top, and half at the bottom? That's like having G at the top and Shock at the bottom. It's just plain wrong.

i like the older one... the omega logo and lac of red font makes the dial simpler, more elegant to read... the basics of what a watch is.

BUT...

the new one has a nice new co-axial movement :)

BUT...

the old ones are cheaper now :)

SO OLD ONE it is! :)

Hopefully, they won't get the SMP Chrono Diver wrong:

It uses the new 'OMEGA' font and applied symbol, and the 'Seamaster' is red - in the same place. Looks nice...

The things they do to keep ahead of the rep makers >sigh<

To me its a case of the old saying;

IF IT AINT BROKE, DON'T FIX IT
