Well, you forget that you're going to get the opinions of exactly two females at present. But as Anne-marie is into bling and I'm pretty anti-bling, I guess that constitutes a fair representation of the female preferences.

So between the two of you, we should get a pretty good idea of whats on a girl's mind. Much better than letting them "borrow" one of mine for awhile (yeah, I lost several that way). That's real anti-bling. Well, in my experience, most women would want to talk shoes. Don't think we could fit that in, loses in the translaton to man talk. But I would think your opinions would steer me away from the guy view. For example, what's with "bags". I see them in the NYTimes as big as a house, and many $$$$$. I could fit a weekends travel needs in one. But PINK & SILVER (pg 5 in Arts)? Is Big is better every girl's ideal? And are those Yamashiro dresses really want a girl wants? And don't get me started with the other accessories. I just want ideas (particually ones I can afford). Might be nice to have a column marked "DON"T GET THIS UNLESS YOU ARE SERIOUS"

Who would we get to moderate it? None of the existing staff can do it,, we dont have the necessary parts..
And whoever would do it would have to be pretty knowledgeable in them,, have some reviews under their belt, hell,, if every lady did a detailed photo review of their watches ... and continued to do so,, it would almost force us to make a section for them.. [smilie=dontknow.gif]

How about this,, we will be making some MAJOR changes to RWI over the next 1-2 months.. we promise to take a serious look at it, if not before the changes,, after for sure.

i've been rep collecting for 2 years now and do not feel comfortable or knowledgeable to do a detailed review write up or pictorial like my esteemed forum colleagues like By-Thor and or you.

now since one of the individuals on this thread seems buy her timepieces as quick as Tony of watcheden cranks them out then there is someone who maybe able to step up to the mod plate

Of course, it's entirely possible that even the two of us won't be able to come to a consensus between the two of us. I'm pretty conservative, I mean at least until we get to the squid sex and all. But dress-wise, I prefer a reasonably classic (aka boring) look. I like neutral colors and jewel tones and I abhor most pastels. I carry a Coach purse in basic colors (when I remember to carry a purse) and I have no idea what's up with the giant purses in the sherbet colors that cost as much as my car. Okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration. But some of those price tags are pretty eye-popping.

Now the downside to following my trends is that I choose things that I think make me look attractive, but I have no use for whatever current trends call for, especially if it's pink, silver, shiny, or requires me to wear earrings the size of hula hoops.

Um, sure. We were planning on an "All Nude All the Time Except for Rep Watches Girlie Calendar".

We'll start shooting it as soon as I have a watch for each month of the year.

Okay, well, if we're going by sheer heart going pitter-pat value and I don't have to actually know anything about any of the watches, out of the Cartier offerings from Watcheden, there would be my top choices.

They're both Happy Sports; I personally like the square dial better than round, but I'm not a fan of anything pink. However, if YOUR woman likes pink, then there you go. I know that Anne-marie got a matching Happy Sport pendant recently and I thought that was gorgeous. I think she said they came in heart shape and square shapes; I still prefer the square. But then again, I'm boring.

Oh, and I know that D4M had a gorgeous black MOP one he was selling before Christmas. I don't know if he still has them though.
