Actually, this piece isn't too shabby (having heard/read articles about the brand's quality; hell, even I'd buy it.) and worthwhile. May I ask the purchase price (for future reference when I next cruise down that way)?

Forgive me for not knowing the color of this leather strap -- I'm having a brain fart! Beautiful watch and strap. I know this is a fantasy because I finished going through my latest Panerai catalogue & couldn't find it. dave:

$550. With a sapphire crystal, superluminova, and horween leather strap. I thinks it's a good deal. Also, have to have a USA made watch if you're a collector.

Thanks much! As a habitual strap-swapper, I have to say that I haven't changed out the mesh since I first put it on the monster. The balance - weight and visual - just feels too spot on to mix it up...
