As much as I'm no fan of diamonds on watches that this is incredible. How much is there in that?


OP I'd go for something in gold and not too much extra bling, the more bling the less believable it is. Can you really pull off a 100k plus watch? The suggestion of a nice gold AP would be my bet.

Go for highly polished/brushed stainless instead. Looks good with a shirt and smart jacket.

This will sparkle like a disco ball and will look good with any smart clothes.

I agree a highly polished watch is a great choice. I have a DateJust with polished center links and it sparkles and shines anywhere day or night. It's really nice how it looks. Always gets compliments.

do you want it to look fake or not? Even the real diamond APs look fake unless the guy just stepped out of his ferrari and is buying high dollar bottle service and throwing his money around.

IMO, go with a SS AP or Hublot if you want to stand out, or a Rolex if you want to draw some attention, but not a lot.

At the end of the night though, Id go with something modest so that when you take a chick back to your crappy studio apartment, it isnt a big surprise when she was thinking you were wearing a $100k+ watch.

At least around where Im at you can always find pretty good deal on gen Rolex so its not out of the realm of possibilities for people to have them. And the crappy fakes you can spot from a mile away, and everyone has seen a crappy fake, so when people see a good rep, they assume its a gen. The APs and Hublots are generally more expensive and you dont see many people with them, so not many people will be able to tell right off the bat if its fake or not, and the people that know what AP and Hublot are will tend to think fake vs real.

I know I met my wife's best friends fiance about 3 months ago and he was wearing a Hublot, but i knew they drove average cars and had a tiny house, and immediately thought rep to myself. Never asked, and still dont know for sure, but either his priorities are off, or its a rep.

IMO if you have a fancy ride , people would assume that even a bling rep is [emoji817] gen. so if you own fancy ride & you like diamond watches . I would say go ahead
