Ok, we've seen it all, Rolex Land Dweller and variants with the new escapement system, etc

But I haven't seen any talk about the Grand Seiko UFA/Ultra Fine Accuracy with a accuracy of +/-20s A YEAR and finally a MICRO ADJUST for $11000 USD... or less than the price of a Datejust grey... wtf

Today's date makes me question everything I read 😅 But something about the Tank à Guichets intrigues me!

I saw that too! A nice easy watch to rep, there are similar homages out so it shouldn't be hard to rep!!!

True 😄 Thickness of only 6mm though, I'd be impressed if they manage that with anything other than a quartz movement! But that said, it doesn’t really matter since it doesn’t have a second hand anyway 😄

Not one release that excites me and would make me jump over the fence.

I'm excited for the Grand Seiko. It's my perfect Grand Seiko, 37mm, better bracelet, no PR in front, better movement, nothing to add. Maybe some cooler dial face (I prefer snowflake or shunbun) but I can't demand much. I will put my money where my mouth is and buy one in 1 year when GS 2nd hand market drops the price by 30%

The Rolex... new movement is nice and I can't wait to see if they use this in other watches, update all their models to use it. But the Land Dweller bores the shit out og me.

Patek boring this year.

What’s everyone’s opinion on the new white-gold, green dial Sprite?

I get your point. And while I do also like the new GS' size and precision, I find it does looks quite boring, doesn't it?

Tudor dropped :

Nothing sexy. New bigger Black Bay at 43mm (Black Bay 68), Opaline BB Pro...

My favorite is the Pelagos Ultra 1000m but it's basically the same style as the 42mm Pelagos

Yes, that is quite disappointing. But the prices are good.

Personally, I like the new BB Pro with the white dial... sorry, with the ‘opaline’ dial ;-)
But at 14.6mm, it is still too thick.

For me, this is just speculation. Tudor is kept thick to make big brother Rolex seem better and sexier..... Tudor is very capable of shaving 2mm off their GMT line but they chose not to...

The new variants of IWCs Ingenieur are imo the best presentations today. Although they are too expensive ...

I'm more excited to try their 35mm release.

But don't worry, the 3hander models will probably all be replicated.

IWC is crazy with those prices 🤣 i am not paying Rolex money for IWC

I've been looking at a spring drive for a while, but I've been put off generally by the thickness and lack of micro adjust. I'm not that keen on the PR on the dial either.

This piece could be the one and I think I'll join your strategy and wait for the second hand ones to come out at a discount. Maybe the release of these will bring the cost down of white birch or shunbun, which could become a placeholder until this one is available.
