Alright ladies and gents. I have sent WE a PM to ask them to come to this thread and answer some of the OP concerns. The Admin/Mods, want to make sure our members get treated fairly. We also want WE to know that the picture (bait and switch) allegation is concerning. If any of you that posted here with your own concern, always feel free to contact an admin/mod. This is why we are here. BTW, RB did contact me about this initially and I thought things were being worked out to his satisfaction.

All, please keep us updated on this stuff so we can finish it out.

Just to add on the whole matter, as I have felt concerned for a while.
I posted a bad experience regarding a Breitling with W.E.

Thx to the Admin Team's intervention, the problem was somehow solved by being offered a free watch : I offered this watch myself in a raffle on RWI, but it showed to be defective as well...
Besides, I asked them several time to correct their description on their webstore : my model is specified as being 42mm, whereas you actually get a 40 mm watch (which prevents for instance its usage as a spare part for an other Breitling). They never did. Not a big issue, except that this shows how far they look to be from our concerns : 'what you see is what you get' is exactly what we expect, and it's obviously not achieved.
We're not talking about a rep which would not be 1:1 to the gen, we're talking about something advertized, and something else delivered.
Why the hell should we spend hours comparing the models between dealers if in the end we compare only promises and not actual models ?

I invite you to read this : http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/all-members-from-watcheden-45736
W.E. seems aware about various issues, now the question is : what do they want to do to change the situation ?
Which I find funny is that every dealer claims he's not dropshipping (including them) : so why do we get so many (I also speak for myself) defective watches or wrong models ?
If it's obvious they have to deal with many orders a day, there are things they MUST see before shipping unless they're blind (real cases : non working chrono, non working date, wrong caseback, badly scratched bracelet)

We also all know that a trusted dealer is not absolutely a perfect one, but a dealer who takes care of the issues you have. But it's true it's often a pain to send watches back, for various reasons (cost, time, customs). And if despite the handling of our claims the situation does not improve, can they be considered as trusted yet ?

I was going to write this last night and did not want to pile on to a bad thing but I'll add it now..

If only they would say the images are a different watch than they sent, I could live with picking a replacement in stead of refund but when they take a stance its the watch I ordered and must be the light I can't do business with crazy people and then email them about other issues in future orders.. I have grown to live with the small stuff but this is just more than a normal lighting issue or missing or bad part...

I do feel they should say as a trusted seller just need some disclaimers added to at the least there Trusted Sellers Forum.. I have got some good deals a few had small defects and then this one.. I would not call them not trusted but I cant recommend them either...

PS:
I just received email that I should recieve full refund in another four weeks...

Image of watch sent

Hi rarebear ,

Inform you we have received your return watch--item 15091 IWC Ingenieur AMG Working Chronograph Same Chassis As 7750 Version-High Quality , and actually this is the exact watch we have sent you as per your order , it might due to the light that makes it look some different from the pictures. (...)

Regarding the IWC, I think I'm in a position to tell you it's real bullshit.
I ordered a quartz Ingenieur from Timesshops some time ago. By mistake he quoted me the price of a cheaper quartz version but delivered what I expected : the "swiss casing" quartz one.
This is actually to confirm that there are 2 versions : and everything is different, not only the caseback. The bracelet and clasp too. The dial.
And the price difference between both versions was something like 40-50 USD.
Draw your conclusions.
The worst in your matter is the "lighting matter" invoked : Sarah, if your step if honest (which I want to believe) it means you have a serious lack of knowledge in replicas, which is not of good taste in your position IMO...

You can't really blame Sarah for this. She was only going on what she was told by the guy she bought it from on Canal St. :screwed:

Trusted or not on this board or another, I don't think i've received one watch that didn't have some problem big or small. Its all about which dealer is willing to make fixing it the least pain in the ass possible.

An ounce of 1st hand QC and prevention by a dealer would be something I would DEFINITELY pay a premium for.

I purchased a Jacob&Co rep from watcheden and it doesn't match the picture either. I didn't post about it because I thought it was an isolated incident, but it seems there's alot of this going on at their site.

Stated that I really don't get why on earth rarebear kept on buying from WE after having such disappointing experiences (mate, if u dont stop ordering from them and then posting all your disappointment with the unwanted reps and low rated service, people will start thinking something odd is going on here...) I do believe in these threads. They offer useful material, whatever is readers point of view. It's quite clear the forum is doing its job perfectly, reporting, discussing, sharing and comparing opinions on trusted dealers and their policies.

That said, it seems to me that WE is not trusted so much by RWI members, as I only saw a few rare posts going "I bought a watch from them and it was ok" (which actually dont add much, cos reliability should never be a matter of luck) in a sea of "NOT the watch I ordered", "bad experience with WE", "watch is broken", "strap is NOT leather", "same case? NO", "glass is badly lopsided", "broken pusher fell off", "they dont want to refund, they only offer repair", "asking for extra money", "4 weeks for refund" (why on earth 4 weeks btw? Are they selling old cans to raise enough dosh to refund or counting nickels one by one?)...and on and on and on..
Once in a while you can see a new thread by Watcheden promoting thrilling news. Why don't they reply in running threads dealing with actual issues, instead of opening new generic threads with useless statements about their awesome "QC"? Is it UKASIA posting for them lolz?
Anyway the new threads generally sound like this to me :

"Dear friends in RWI, Watcheden is happy to announce that we have implemented extra QC and are now offering free noodles. We never dropship, we personally check and assemble those creative frankens put together using vintage Commodore 64 parts, cork glasses and brass-plated pushers from plastic toy trumpets. Obviously what you see is what you get. Problem is what did you see? Light was never enough to spot the right dustbin, so whatever you got, sorry it is not our issue. Feel free to suggest, we are trying our best to improve :).
If specifically requested in 8 true copies by district attorney we can offer instalment refunds over 10 years at 12 cents a month.
Order from our online store here :
http://www.panerai.com/s_special_editions.xpd?id_lingua=2&id_sezione=15&id_categoria=8919
And check the goods you are going to get here :
http://www.giocattoleria.it/wp-content/uploads/set-di-costruzioni-in-legno.jpg
DIY Some assembly required."

Seriously, they should face the issues their own clients are raising, instead of stubbornly acting deaf. I have no interest in that, for I will never order from them. But their own customers are all they have, cos even last minute noobs read threads and more greedily the ones dealing with complaints.
Adopting a wrong policy in here is a good way to give something in return for nothing.

I'm glad I saw this thread. I was debating on placing an order with this particular seller but after reading everyone posts I've decided to steer clear. It's not worth taking the chance when you have other sellers offering the same product.

IMO... I think W.E. should have stepped in to resolve this issue or give some rebuttal but instead allowed this thread to go on and influence noobs like me not to do business with them.

i think thats why so many people recommend Hont. Precious Time also do personal QC.

Its also why i would recommend Eurotimez but unfortunately they are not a trusted dealer on here

I dont know if something bad has happened to Watcheden in the last 6 months, but back in March when i bought my last few reps from them, my experience was brilliant.

A missing watch from a box of four was replaced at no cost to myself. They returned a Rolex Daytona that gained a rediculous amount of time each hour, repaired and returned within the month.

All my reps from them have been as good, if not better, than the pictures listed on the website. And I have always have very speedy communication from Sarah.

I have just ordered a pumpkin PO chrono a few weeks ago, and am still waiting for it but i put this down to the Uk postal strikes but i have complete faith that it will arrive, and be as pictured/described.

I am sorry to hear of other peoples bad experiences though, but it is just the complete opposite of my own.

Thanks for posting Danny. It's important that we hear the good along with the bad.

Regretably in commerce it's a fair rule of thumb that 80% of folk with a bad experiance will complain while less than 20% of those who had a steller exreriance will tell of it. This does tend to skew the stats a bit. Mind you, still a lot of complaints recently and you are correct, things took a turn for the worse (IMO) about 6 or 7 months back.
