Watch Winding of 6497 asian movement

Hi Experts,

For this type of self winding, how much do you wind? Is there a limit to how much it can wind and how do i know i have wind enough? :|

It will stop when it is fully wound. Usually about 50.

It means there is an end of the winding and i will know when i am unable to wind somemore, am i rite?

And there is a definitive end to it's running. It varies from model to model but when you figure out how long it is you can count it down to the end like 'clockwork'.

Thanks. I have figure it all out. There is an end of the road. used to automatic and quartz movement. quite a primitive and manual like my old days alarm clock..

Actually it ain't that bad. I kinda like knowing. I actually have considered doing a manual wind modern Daytona. I mean who would know right?

I thought Daytona is automatic?
