Watch battle: Panerai VS. Breitling, Rolex, Omega, IWC, TAG

I was looking at some polls on gen forums and Panerai is getting its ass whooped big time by every other major brand out there. I have a hinch it has something to do with the fact it's considered overpriced and not as affordable.
I want to see if the tables turn when all are all similarly priced, I want to hear from you people who can buy any of them and a lot of you owned one of each.
Which one do you choose? I am not asking about the accuracy or quality of the rep.

Rolex for me if I had to choose just one, although I like PAMs as well as other brands

Close one for me between Breitling and Rolex but at the end of the day, it's Rolex. Classic design, never goes out of style. Looks good just knocking around, or at the casino with a martini shaken, not stirred.

I would have to go with IWC. Love their styling/finish and they are relatively affordable when compared to Pams or even Rolexes.

Omega for me. I've got six, and I can think of another six I'd buy in a heartbeat.

TBH, the Ploprof is the only Omega I've ever seen that I don't like.

Rolex IMO

Their diver is the most recognized watch in the world, and it's a classic design that goes with everything in any situation (except the most formal where a leather band is expected).

And when you need something dressier, the datejust or day date on leather is my second favorite. I've seen somebody here post a gold datejust on a black leather strap that looked awesome.

IWC does make some nice stuff but their pilot series turn me off from the brand.

Rolex for me. They , generally, stick to classic styling and have a few traditionally sized watches. What I don't like is the Rolex Cashe; it is overdone and is associated with poor behaviour (of course, AP seems to be passing Rolex in this regard).

I would really like to like Breitling better. I like the navtimer; I just wish it were a little smaller. But, it is one of the few large watches that has a reason to be so big. I tried on a gen Glactic 36 (in mens colours). Unfortunately, it is not repped and the gen is quite pricey for what it is (my feeling about nearly all Swiss gens).

I would really like to like IWC. They have great styling and seem to be well repped. It is just that they are so big. I am really considering the new generation pilots watch.

Tag is another that I should like but don't. So many of them are far to "blingely." The carrera is one that I may consider. However, Tag seems to be an entirely marketing driven brand. Mediocre movements inside watches designed by fashion designers rather than engineers and then heavily marketed to justify their high prices.

Pam. . . As you can see, I am just not into the whole "giant watch" thing.

Omega. . . well, the "bond" tie in leaves me a bit cold. It just seems silly. They do have some midsized models, which I like. Unfortunately, their midsized models are not repped. I could see myself liking a lot of Omegas.

There's just to many models of rolex I want

Musta spent all of five minutes thinking about it.
I love my Pam 111 but do I love other models? Only two more the 360 and 005 nothing else

And breitling I have a Skyland avenger receive numerous compliments yeah it's a nice whatch but ... Idk something about it
Tag.. Because I have the gen f1 love it to death. An I wouldn't mid trying an aquaracer.

I'm going to say Rolex, I own many of three of the gen brands posted, the others just don't interest me and big giant watches I think look silly, not saying the other named watches aren't good watches, just not my thing.

For me, of these choices alone, its Rolex hands down.
The Rolex DJ, Sub, and GMT completely and utterly define their market niches. They are instantly recognizable and carry a lot of prestige. They also hold their value extremely well and are uber dependable and durable.
If I could only have 1, it'd be a Rolex.
