I sent my Patek 5726 back from Australia to Intime in China recently. It took a while ( covid lockdown delays ) but it arrived safely with no issues. Sent via standard Australia post service and declared as a bracelet for repair / return.

It’s basically the same risk as when the parcel
Is sent from China to your destination in the 1st place. Use the standard postal service, low to medium value, avoid declaring as “Watch” and make sure it’s packed well to avoid water or handling damage. Always ensure the TD gives you a contact phone number to put on the parcel…. It helps with the local China post in case there is an issue with the address translation.

Good luck peeps…
Yea accept you assume the risk if it is lost sending it back, compared to the seller. Not a risk I will ever take again! Glad it worked out for you tho bro (y)

What's the issue with declaring the full value? That way if it's lost I get the value of the watch back from my domestic mail service. For a broken DOA watch that seems like a reasonable outcome to me.
