Warning! Do not buy any SW mods dials

During SW have very bad QC and they sounds don't give a shit about they QC and trying to sale very high end price for that. I warning to all members here don't waste your time and money to order any SW mods.

My waiting and bad QC for my SW full set are really piss me off.

SW, if you don't give a shit about your QC, just don't try to sale it!!!

That’s been my experience with SW as well. I purchased a white 5711 dial. 12 marker was extremely misaligned. I ended up GL after a trusted watchmaker here told me he could fix it. It cost me another $100 or so beyond the original price for the fix.

With that said, even Buff has had issues with the both the 5711 and 5712 blue dials. Marker placement is atrocious. I have RL’d 4 each before I found a dial I could live with.

Buff did deliver a spectacular 5167 dial on the first try from me but that was from another dealer than the above experiences.

SW is one of the problems, alao the TD who doesn’t push SWF to do a better job. The chinese laugh at us, we pay and they have all control and power. There should be a new system where we pay half upfront and half when delivered. Let’s see how this would improve the quality given.

I waited over 4 months to have my watch and mods to be completed. Even when I received it I saw the things that were wrong with my watch.
GEEKTIME is a guy to avoid. He is a liar, cheater and ask for more money all the time. His watch smith which is an amateur, damaged the dial twice, misaligned the hour and minute hands, dust on dial after sending it back to GEEKSHIT GUY. And this a…hole dares to ask me more money five times as the watch smith needs more work and postage costs.
You can guess I didn’t pay extra as he already charged me extra for SW. datewheel and hands, $358 + 50 + 50 and $100 for the watch smith.

So many lies from this guys and even very respectless how he treats customers, complete scumbag he is.
When sending the 3KF modded Aquanaut I asked for the 3KF dial, hands and DW, he said it was swapped and he didn’t have it. Well first time I got really angry and said I will report him, then immediately he said he found the 3KF Dial, DW and hands…

Much more expriences on this sale with this guy, all on whatsapp.
I did buy two watches before from him, and they were just common Clean Factory watches without extras and those purchases and proces was okay.

Long story short, some fabrics and dealers screw us, some are good. But we need to get more in control with payments, as money is everything for chinese, and get better quality and service.

I wouldn't do any modding with TDS outside of AMF/Ctime "Mr Wang". TDs are middlemen and asking them to do anything higher than swapping a crystal or regulating leads to bad results.

It's not about who doings the mods, the topic I want to point SW have very bad QC and price are ridiculous high! the full set of dial and hands is about same cost of kvf 5167 watch price . If they want make money like that, they need doing better job, I don't mind to pay higher price but I want to get the quality as I paid for.

Someone mentioned SW is VVS and I fell for it, as I liked the images posted of the VVS:



The SW ended up being completely different. Too purple and too much sunburst. The 5711 should be more green with hardly any sunburst.

First pic is Buff V3 vs ZF 15202. Second pic is SW vs ZF 15202. Although the lighting direction is different (and my new shade grass did not do well this summer), you can tell the Buff is greener than the ZF and the SW is considerably purple. Wasn't a fan of it.


The only thing I liked was the lume wasn't as strong. Am trying to match lume to the Buff dial as the Buff hands are even stronger and the 3KF hands are too weak and purple.

I am waiting my 5167 from Mr wang. It's take too long for just switch my SW dial.

My experience is that 1. SW sent out too many times a bad quality dial which Me Wang doesn’t accept as his standard to give to customers. This proces to get the good quality dial can take 2,5 months in my case.

2. Mr Wang is high in demand as the posts here of the modded watches makes an increase in work.

Agree. The white SW 5711 dial is also the best currently. Hence the issue. There are certain modders (not TDs... that may or may not have been mentioned in this thread above) that won't do any leg work for a good quality mod.
