I should rephrase - it wouldn’t be gen at 41mm since this is a Chinatime rep of the 38mm version.

No news and not to be a debbie downer but I doubt that a Proplof rep will come any time soon. The rest of these releases already are based on existing models, so the case and everything exists, they just needed to produce new dials bezels and hands. Proplof case hasn't existed in 5+ years

I've purchased the ploprof homages from Steeldive and San Martin, the cases are good enough for me. I sanded the caseback from the Steeldive to make it "neutral". The San Martin already had a "sterile" caseback. But for the blue ploprof, one would need to make a blue bezel pusher. What is the diameter of the dial for that blue diver ? Mine is 32mm. I got it from manodeoro.

I don’t think these will be very good. I’d wait until gen vs rep comparison and I have a feeling none of the reps will have a good color. The color transition / fade that is has seems very hard to replicate.

The gens are beautiful BTW, I saw all of them on display just the other day.

Wont bother, they are not close to the gen in regards to the dails, worlds off. If they can't even get a lot of the more basic dials correct, they are never going to get these dials right.

I wouldn't sweat about the color too much. Ppl jump into conclusions that it's off, but looking at gen wrist shots - they all look different. This is metallic sunburst dial after all. Even pics from single QC look so different, depending on light and angle. For me, hype killer is that awful, awful caseback. It's just so lovely in gen, and so butchered on rep. Nobody gonna see if but you, sure. I think those are gonna be great watches on wrist, but for me, whole selling point was this commemorative caseback and excuse to get another blue watch.
