Since we all have come to the consensus that SEL gaps are not a reason to knock watches. Take a look at this beauty again

But the DW looks skinny in this pic?? Are there a few different versions?? The fat DW font would drive me mad

I can live with it BTW, I think the date wheel is maybe somewhat bolder than on gen but to be sure about this judgement we need to consider:
- digital camera internal automatic "corrected contrast" when having contrasting details which on cheap cameras leads to bolder black details
- in gen world this sometimes look too bold, too, probably due to the same reason

according to all available sources, I still haven't chosen the best ootb. i will be waiting for a video with the new zzf v3. if none of them satisfies me, I will mix them with each other ...

Agreed, I have seen plenty of subbies in real life and online with bolder font. Nothing to be worried about!

So disappointed by the DW, it’s was so close to have the perfect ootb compromise, price, case, xtal, movement, dial and so on. But with this DW imo they fail.
Hope just vsf didn’t order 10k vs3135 with this dw...

Not necessarily, some gens have a thick date wheel, as seen a few posts back

Inb4 vsf bought their gen off ebay that turned to be a arf, so we ends with a replica of a arf sub :hehehe:
