VSF VS3135 Submariner Comparison Against the Gen

Yes, you have to. The gen bezel gasket and the vsf bezel gasket are extremely different and there is no way to make it fit a gen bezel unless with extensive modding (read sanding the gasket by half its thickness)

Still I don’t remember which gasket I used but I did sanding NOOB V6S retainer ring by 0.3 around.
Gen bezel was pop up without its modding.

I will compare Gen bezel and VFS bezel tomorrow.

I confirmed that VSF bezel gasket doen’t work with Gen bezel properly.

Gen bezel should be used with a Gen bezel gasket or a generic gasket for 116610.
But in my experience, some of generic gasket doesn’t fit Gen bezel even if it says it is for 116610.

I guess VSF bezel has deeper ditch than Gen

I guess VSF bezel has deeper ditch than Gen but I couldn’t measure it.

You can find VSF gasket on Gen bezel is sticking out little bit.
It makes gasket inner diameter smaller than Gen condition.

Result of installing this bezel, gasket is touching to retainer ring very strongly and impossible bezel to be turned.

You need some additional works if you want to utilize VSF gasket with Gen bezel.

Make the VSF gasket inner diameter same size as Gen by shaving and sanding.
Please shave carefully while checking the size by applying the retainer ring from opposite side like below.

Bezel turned nicely after done this work.

Thanks for all these infos. Ya, my vsf hytrel ring aka gasket got damaged too while removing the whole bezel assembly. I think I used v6s hytrel for replacement and it fits well on VSF bezel. I suspect some noobs hytrel ring fits VSF bezel. Gen hytrel ring doesnt fit on VSF bezel as it is too loose.

U got any spare Gen bezel to sell? hehe

This forum is quite big and honestly too much information...Would you say that 41mm 126610 LN Black Ceramic 904L Steel VSF VS3235 is at the moment closest to Genuine Submariner? Or at least one of the closest replicas?

Ado213 shaved the retainer down for me, now it sits perfectly. VSF bezel on ARF v3 case (my favourite, because I like the rehaut best on this model, plus everything about the ARF case can be removed and reworked). No play at all now

1.) UK isn‘t in the EU anymore and that means it should be considered as receiving a parcel from outside the EU

2.) Sead has stock in UK and this means … see 1.)
FYI: I ordered and received a CF no date without any problem (it was sent as watch spare parts…).
It was 5 days after July 1st 2021 (new EU import VAT regulation). I can't say how it looks like now.

3.) the best way is triangle methode with an entrance EU country not equal to your country. Because if it‘ll be checked and seizured by customs in one of the „transit“ countries … you‘re fine. But if this happens in your country then it looks a little bit different, right?
No news (call) from customs authorities is always good news (call) ;-)

Actually not really

Yes the UK is no longer part of the EU, but suspicions of counterfeits products and therefore level of scrutiny are much higher for parcels coming from China, because customs know that this is where fake goods are being manufactured, not the UK
​​​​​​If your parcel gets seized by the customs of your own country there's no way they can prove that you are actually the one who ordered it, it doesn't matter if it "looks a little bit different" you can always say that you knew nothing about that
