My VSF has arrived. I'm overall pleased. Mostly with dial color, DW/crystal and movement feeling (compared to A2824, as my old ARF had).

But there are some unexpected drawbacks with this praised model as well that haven't been mentioned here (I think). Will come back with more info soon. First, some pics. No outdoor pics as it was dark when it arrived.

Nice one, wear in good health, would be curious about your feedback.
Movement (power reserve), time keeping accuracy and winding feels smooth but only time will tell (Not sure if it will match ETA 2824 long term reliability)

The clasp feels stiff and insecure everytime i close it (I am still too used to my ARF)

The winding crown is still too fat?

So. For me the bracelet, fluted bezel, clasp feels fine. Dont have my ARF anymore so cant compare side by side. Bracelet was a bit squeeky but I remember the ARF was as well but now it's lubed and feels fine. Two issues concerns me...

1. Under all the markers on the dial there is i small dent/indentation when a direct light hits. I mean on ALL markers so it's consistent. Will do my best to show a few pics. I haven't heard anyone mention this. Not on ARF or gen for that matter.

2. The easylink extension on my ARF was a bit stiff compared to the gen I tried at AD. But the VSF easylink is so stiff so it actually feels like it will break when I use it. I must sandpaper it or something because it hardly cant be used as it is now, for real.

Other than this Im very happy. But the "1" comment caught me with surprise I must say.

No worries. Have no idea. It is what it is, don't really care about the crown to be honest.

Absolutely strange this effect. It could be useful someone else try to take pics under the same kind of light, just to know if this is a problem of your item, only, or it's present in all vsf dials of this model. From the pics u posted this is a damn issue

It should be tested so the lightbulb/sun or whatever is over the marker. There is no problemet with normal reflections.

And the pics I took are worst case scenario so I don't think it will be a big problem for me. Mostly annoying and unexpected

Thats the thing i asked before,i remmember also someone said that he spoted that under markes,also visible on my QC... only wonder is it hard to spot it or easily you can see it bro

This seems to be an individual QC issue. To me it looks like the markers have been pressed a bit too hard which has put a bend on the dial surface (hence the reflections). I went back and looked at my dial just now, luckily don't have it. I guess I am stuck with all the bracelet issues

Fascinating. Considering I have a gen and don't have any of the reps for the model I had no clue that the dial for the reps are like this. I just checked my gen and for sure there is no such warp/distortion/indentation situation under the indices. The dial is perfectly flat and the sunburst effect has no interruption from center to the chapter ring.

Thanks for sharing. This is the first mention of this I have seen. I gave the green light on my QC pics today. I can’t see any reflection issues around the markers but I will also complete a review on arrival.

Markers were pressed too hard, apparently. The markers on mine are totally flat, no issues.

Sorry bud but it looks like the same effect as mine. All my markers have this, not just some.

Will wear it to work for the first time today. Will see if it bothers me
