You probably already know this -- but on the off chance you don't the DJ41 is only 39.5mm.

I still prefer the 36mm DJ, it's the Goldilocks size for me regarding DJs

In my opinion the gen lugs are still definitively sharper than his ARF example but to each their own.

I actually compared my ARF DJ41 to my colleague's grey gen and there's no visible difference on the upper edge of the lugs. They both look more or less the same to the eye i.e. like on the picture below.

You said "they look the same, like on this picture below" -- was not able to tell that was your rep. If that's the case then yes they definitely finally sharpened the lugs on the DJs. My v2 I have is very soft shaped.

Yes, VSF will be releasing the one without the coronet at the 6:00 position first, because the gen sample they bought was without it.

They will also release the updated version eventually.
