Sorry for newbie question.
Is it possible to get a gen bracelet these days?

There are a few on the Rolex forum. Maybe even m2m here. But I think there are at least 2for sale right now.

Yes you are right, the pins / screws are slimmer.

It was funny because I was easily able to mount
ARF removable links on VSF fixed links
while it was not possible to mount
ARF fixed links on VSF removable links

The reason is different thickness of pins / screws.
You can’t put the VSF screws into ARF wholes because ARF uses slimmer pins.

So I ended up using the ARF screws to fix the „last“ link between ARF and VSF. But the screws are slightly longer once screwed in so the can’t be tightened completely.

You can use the entire ARF bracelet on VSF. Fits fine in mine. I have tried mixing matching (VSF fixed links, ARF the rest) but didn’t look visually pleasing. The ARF polish is different and better. Maybe you have a better bracelet and hence the end result was better. Wear in good health!!

I had some gaps between sels and lugs while using the ARF on my white dial 126334. Didn’t try on my blue dial 126300 yet but will try and write a full review anyway once the blue dial case is back after it has been reshaped to gen specs.

i know only that VS factory close now..
i know the bracelt on AR factory its better than VS, this is true?
i can wait if the VS really better.

The vsf jubilee bracelet is sharp when touched on top, going from side to side.

Does this also happen with arf?

In my opinion the vsf is more smooth but that loose feel compared to arf is a must change… arf is 100 times more solid, im waiting first chance and definetly buying arf

There is no alternative to the AR bracelet quality wise...

The dat efont is much better on the VSF. ARF has always font way to thick. Even though they reqorked the font it is still much thicker than gen.

What is left is just to wait, hopefully the VS factory will return to activity soon, if at all ...

I'm really not closed on the ARF.
It is very easy to find out that this is a fake watch by the date font.

I wanted a Jubilee bracelet because for me the DJ should always be on a Jubilee with a fluted bezel.
The bracelet seems a bit weak. I have a gen Pepsi was going to do comparison of that bracelet with this DJ41 later this weekend.
I bought this Arabic Dial and looking forward to completing this project.

So a bit late in posting this.... but was having a dull afternoon.
I managed to get my Datejust dial changed. Here's the VSF next to my gen.
