Can it be issue for the waterproofness?
Dont think so, unless you will do deep diving. Im more concerned that it the first threads breaks it will not be able to screw in at all. Happend to an old Omega rep of mine.

Just make sure you wind anticlockwise to line the threads up before you screw It in, should minimise the risk

I want to swap my rhodium dial with a blue one. Any recommendations here for any modder in EU to do it. Don’t want to take the risk even if it’s seems fairly easy. ( both VSF dials )

Oh, people, I love this post. I've read all 139 pages and I'm thrilled. I've always been looking for a DJ who looks good at OOTB. Now I found one with VSF. Euro pictures and opinions convinced me! Here are my QC pictures of Andrew. I'm just afraid about shipping to Germany, because we have customs that pulls out almost every UK package. If I finally get it, I'll take pictures of it immediately and post it. Maybe I'll leave the bezel white gold, too. A provider lives 10 kilometres away from me. Do I have to pay attention to something when dismantling?

You could do it yourself. Easy job with the right tools.

Do you have any instructions for me?

Why do it yourself
People in the rep game need to pick up basic modding skills so they don't end up visiting watchmakers for trivial reasons and paying a fortune over some time.
Could you imagine having to visit the watchmaker for something like changing the bracelet to leather and getting charged for it?

I wanted to change my DJ41 dial too and the watch guy I spoke to wanted to charge me approximately US$70, citing that changing dials and removing hands were similar in complexity to brain surgery.

Of course I declined and decided to save myself some money and pick up some valuable skills along the way.

^ I'd like to do simple stuff myself. Unfortunately, I seem to dick up the keyless works on re-casing. Every. Single. Time.

Yep. I've come to the conclusion that it is better to send it off than guarantee keyless work disaster. Looks simple, then you try and fix it, but only gets worse :D 6 hours in and several parts missing to what you thought would take half an hour...
