ive had a good look round now and unfortunately VSF have got it wrong on all the new 42mm models, just far more noticeable on this grey dial.
Its much harder to see on the black dials, but yes, its pretty apparent on the 959.
TBH its actually a little more difficult than I thought. My eyes are playing tricks on me here. Gen vs VSF
I think panerai may have changed it from pre production images/watches? looking into the other 42's, 683 and 960 it appears to be the same thing. Stock pics and pre-production different to the ones out in the wild.
I just had a look as well..
looks like VSF release is OK compared to gen..
here below are two more photos of the gen PAM959
I now totally think panerai changed it from Pre-release models and stock images for all the 42 subs.

it is weird actually just pulled a couple of pics off of Chrono 24 and they are the same as vsf

Noway for this wonderful rep without gen sample, look at DW font color exactly same Gen , Dial font color , icant find flaw ! And this V1 , icant trust this Rep from HQ google Images .

Your’re 1. in the wrong thread & 2. a member for 10+ years and you should know that the probability we will see that one repped are less than 1% (due to movement complexity)

Sounds like you're trying to sell the watch to somebody. DW font color? Dial font color? Those are exactly the same as already produced models. Now unless the factory shows us the gen beside the rep, all this is is needless speculation.
