Does the dial change in color depending on the light and angle (black to green)? Any issues so far?

So I just got my grey AT. I'm very impressed with it and get why they cost as much as they do.

Regarding the purple hue on the background, I noticed that it depends on the lighting you are under. When you put it under a white LED light, there is no purple at all and looks just like gen. However when you put it under normal light, there is a slight purple hue to it, making me think that it's the crystal causing the issue.

I’d love to get my hands on the white 8900 with orange seconds hand, but hesitant from TD since shipping may take forever.

if anyone’s looking to get rid of theirs I’ll take it!

For me the only thing that bothers me with this watch is that VSF do a poor job with the hand finishing. Its more visible on the black dial. Other than that VSF really did an outstanding job on this model.

How is the centring of the DW? I got one from a TD and in the QC pics I noticed that it's a little to the left. Is this a normal thing for this model?

I think its a common issue with these AT reps by VSF, the DW is slightly off center towards the left. Not noticeably in person to be honest. However if zoomed in on the pics then you can tell its off center.

Are the dwo able to be aligned or do these require a different one with the dates printed better?

Hi everybody,

I have read through much of this thread AFTER buying an AT James Bond 'Spectre'. It looks and feels great but I can't quite shake that the marker underneath 12 is off centre - this seems to have been mentioned a fair bit in the thread.

The markers themselves don't seem to help with the shape they are as sometimes it kind of looks straight in different light etc.

I have posted some pics on here, can I have some consensus?! I am driving myself mad with it!

In the QC pictures I received it looks straight, so I accepted.

I suppose I have no chance of getting it swapped after accepting the QC pictures haha!

It’s kind of soured it for me a little bit as the rest of it looks so good and I’m the type of person who loses sleep if I see a picture that’s been hung incorrectly in a coffee shop or something.
