I've read online and in the forums that the VSF factory made some of the best Rolex RW's.
I also read that the factory was closed and is no longer making RW's.
If the VSF factory is no longer open can anyone recommend another factory producing similar quality replicas.
I'm looking for a Submariner 116610LN 904L VS3135 and the Explorer II 216570 VR3186.
I'm not sure if anyone offers the VR3186 movement in the EX-2 but I read that this movement works well for the EX-2.
I read the GMF makes a good EXP II. Any information/advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

As a complete rookie to the RW world I really appreciate the information. Thank you.
In terms of the most "reliable" movement for the SUB do you have an opinion/advise.
I've read ALOT about the pros and cons of each. What have I got myself into ... lol !!!
My primary focus is on reliability and not as close to GEN or being able to replace the movement in the future. Could I ask if you have a preference of these movements in any order ? Also any you think a person should avoid. Again thank you for any information that you can share I really appreciate it.

I've noticed that both the A2836 A 2824 are very common in reps. Not so sure of the others.

I’d say for reliability in a rep, you may want to consider a BK sub that has had a Swiss ETA 2824 swapped into it. They are offered at a premium price, but I considered it worth the extra dough. Others here have said they consider his mods more of an extra level of quality control.

There are some basics mate..;)
For stabiliy, buy a replica which has one of the ETA clones built in, then when busted, buy a GEN eta (about 170.-) or sellita (about 150.-) and you are safe for years.
the 3135 and 3235 are so called decorated rolex-clone movements. 3135 are submariner/Datejust movements of the 40mms
and 3235 is the newer clones of the 41mm subds and DJs and so on.

3186 is a GMT complication movement.

If you go for the reference you mentioned, 116610, the movement options are either 3135 (VS: VSF movement, which is best clone movement by far. second would be VR3135, also very stable).
Or 2824/2836 (difference is just date or daydate movement). for THIS, then you could swap on GEN Eta or change parts cause any watchmaker can source those parts for asia eta.

but i would swap complete movement, cause the gears of GEN eta would be so good quality that they may EAT the tooth of the single asia gears:D



In 2 sentence:

1. choice: 116610 with a asia eta clone, then swap to swiss ETA
2. choice: VSF 116610 with VS3135
3. choive: clean factory or GMF with VR3135

Penso di sì, gmf ne fa uno col quadrante verde. But This is an English speaking section, so you may want to visit the Italian subsection if you feel more comfortable writing in Italian.
Vsf and clean have recently begun to make DJ 36 of quite good quality but I'm not sure if they make the green dial version. In the rolex section you'll find a couple of threads concerning the new DJ36, just check them out.

A couple of threads. It turns out Vsf has also made the green dial, after all. Vsf has a solid reputation and good movements, would personally probably go with Vsf. But read the threads to learn how they are and if you can live with the flaws Vsf and clean have.

TD's are still selling VSF watches, so I would assume they are still in production.
