That's what I wanted to know.

Because the ones I've seen disassembled had only a few balls in them.
Interesting. Can you post a pic or link? If there are multiple versions of the SH or DD 4131 then I should make sure to update the comprehensive guide to reflect that -- I'm currently suggesting that the full ring of ball bearings be used as an identification feature of these movements.

Unfortunately didn't take pics, I was standing next to my watch smith when he disassembled.

I'll ask if he has one still there when I go on Monday.

Both the SH4131 and DD4131 have a fully packed set of ball bearings supporting the rotor. The only version of the 4131 I d seen that doesn’t have a fully packed race of ball bearings is the ACE free sprung 4131.
I have never seen the ACE free sprung 4131. Is there a pic or a post talking about it?

VSF and Clean if they want they could replicate Rolex movement 1:1 and in that case Rolex will go bankrupt and they will be all raided

I've been sitting on the sides waiting for a 126500 (primarily black dial, but also love the panda) since probably 2019. Never pulled the trigger even with CF more recently because of some flaws that still bugged me (blue hue on the white, red daytona text, etc.).

I was reading on reddit that this new VSF release is the actual best the market can give currently - giving us the movement, the CF base, and the ARF bracelet. AKA removing CF from supremacy in terms of pure accuracy out of the box (no franken).... is that right? I haven't seen a huge release or review thread which I would imagine there to be if this was the case.

Super interested!

Black very accurate

nice quiz: looks to me that Gen is on the left on the first pair/row but on the second onward rows Gen on the right ... am I right?

Anyway, black is fabulous - with white I have more concerns on the white tone compared to Gen ...

VSF has claimed that they have the best hands and shaft on their Daytona 126500

I’d prefer to avoid having anyone’s hands or shaft on my Daytona, whether they’re the best or not.

Aside from that, this release looks excellent.
