VSF Daytona Panda Daytona is officially here with VS4131 movement.

VSF has claimed that they have the best hands and shaft on their Daytona 126500, and they come with their VS4131 (aka DD4131), which is only unique to VSF.

Below is quoted and translated from VSF

"Are you still worried about the needle shaft you bought being dented or deformed? The details are not the same? The pointer is scratched/dirty?

Then please choose VS Daytona. You can use a magnifying glass to see the version yourself, and you will not be fooled.

The accessories are the best in the industry, and the movement is the most stable VS4131 proprietary movement. What you see is what you get. The first batch comes with a folding magnifying eyepiece for you to appreciate. Highly recommended, the most stable version in all aspects."

While the VS4131 and DD4131 are the same movement, but VSF calling it VS4131 simply shows their determination to deliver more 4131 Daytona models, and produced these pics to show that they paid attention to even the finest details of the corners of the hands, to match that of the gen. Quality from VSF usually do not disappoint, and the VS4131 Daytonas will also be another quality product from them.

And below are some pics for you guys to view. :)

You can also find the VSF Daytona 126500 series here.

So BTF isn’t using the DD4131 anymore?

@dogwood is the 4131 with the correct ball bearings now or have the 4130 mechanism?
Both the SH4131 and DD4131 have a fully packed set of ball bearings supporting the rotor. The only version of the 4131 I d seen that doesn’t have a fully packed race of ball bearings is the ACE free sprung 4131.

So 20 plus balls as per gen?

Yes, I'm hoping that the ball bearing and escapement are being truthfully replicated soon.

Kill me for it.

Yes it appears so. If you look at the rotor hub you can count the balls present. Both the dd and sh 4130 had 7 ball bearings and a spacer cage. These new 4131s have a full ring of balls and no spacer cage.

That's what I wanted to know.

Because the ones I've seen disassembled had only a few balls in them.
