Can anyone tell me if the VSF Sub Bracelet uses the same screws as gen? Cant seem to find the answer anywhere. I would assume they are?

Thanks!

So, interestingly I live in NYC and Im consulting with one of the top 10 watch retailers in the Diamond District (Marketing). I just couldn't get one out so took it to a watch repair on 47th and told him the issue. He heated it up and took it out. He then checked the watch out and said the watch is real but not the bracelet! He mentioned that the screws are not the same as Rolex.

Back in the same situation - how to get replacement screws for a VSF Sub? If anyone knows I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Now that you can get them out, did you take measurements and compared them to the assortment from that link above? I'd be surprised if you can't find anything that fits or can be made to fit.

But maybe others here come up with better options. Good luck.

So, took apart the whole bracelet and cleaned threads - VSF appears to use a lot of LocTite. I thought I had the screws that I was having a problem with but found one more. Ran the bracelet under hot water for a while and got it out.

I block sanded the ends and used another screw to put it back - the whole thing was a pain in the ass. After all of that I still need to find new screws so I'll start working on that.

Im really surprised that TDs or Manufacturers dont offer them for sale as appears there is no standard size. At this point I just might buy a new ARF Bracelet and be done with it.

Maybe I'm gaslighting myself but I recall some members using gen Sub links on their VSF bracelet, am I just dreaming? I thought the bracelet was compatible with gen, or at least used to be.

The loctite thing is really common amongst replicas now, which is why I always tell people not to force anything out, if it requires more strength than your hand can apply to the screw then it needs heat not more force

Yes, I believe the dimensions of the bracelets are gen but the screw pins appear to be different and even more bothersome the manufacturers dims different as well?

I dont think the genuine screws will fit perfectly well in this case.

No they dont and appears all rep manufacturers are different like Clean, VSF.... Would be nice if the manufacturers sold them - perhaps in packets of 5.

Sounds like one should keep removed links that have screws in them separate and organized for any future use since they all won’t just be compatible in any way
