The genuine movement is p900, the vsf movement is p9000 The bug refers to the difference in calendar adjustment and movement thickness between the genuine product and the movement

Nowadays Panerai has far too many new models with similar features throwing onto the market leading to an almost brand ruining effect. Just look at how many Luna Rossa models they have.............

Dial is correct I ordered the blue one because of the first photos with plain white dial.

I ordered the 1579 too... after having already 8 pieces of VSF 42mm Submersibles I got used to the thickness, knowing that won't get fixed in the near future anyway

Got my new 1579 Monday, frustrates the shit out of me that VSF is still using these garbage crystals. So I already tore it apart and ordered new crystal(s). Xtal needed is a double-domed 31.5mm OD x 1.8mm, which isnt a standard size. I ordered a 31.5mm x 2.0mm and a 31.0mm x 1.8mm w/ thicker gasket from eBay to see if one of those work before placing a custom order.

Also got my gen Panerai strap today, just delivered from FedEx. $330 later...somewhat comical that the strap costs almost as much as the damn watch. But for me, the small details matter.

Yes, created a CAD file. Checking with a supplier to see if they can make me a small batch of 10-20 pcs.
