I'm in love with it, but is it worth it to buy it as a rep? I mean, should I better get a real vintage piece?
I'm actually interested in trying to make a watch look old, it would be cool to have such experience, and it might be the perfect candidate.

i think these are good for the money. To get a gen vintage Tudor would be over $5k.
These are not terribly accurate to gen, but who is going to know. I have the blue snowflake version and want to get this one too.

There are limited options with these vintage tudors. Anything really good is going to cost you.

If you can afford, by the gen right now. The prices are going up and up.

I can, but I don't know if I want to buy a very used watch for 5 grands. I love it, but I can buy new gen black bay and save two grands, or I can buy like 16 black bay reps, lol.
I love black bay too, the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger yet is the size, which is 41mm.

Even amateurs can make a watch look older, thing is not to overdo it. Less I more. Bleached insert, remove Pearl gets you a long way. The bracelet need to be sanded, but just little.

I guess my main though while creating this thread was to know if this one is worth buying.
These artificially aged watches look really cool :)

Yes, it is a good rep! Not 100% per GEN but a solid watch never the less. You will never be called out using this after a few againg mods.

You just got me curious.
What do you think, is it better to buy this and "age" it, or buy Black Bay black? :)
I think this one is much more charismatic, size is better for me, but the black bay is almost a super rep.

I own 3 black bays and love them all. Great quality rep. If you have the cash I would buy both. However I see vintage is coming back in a huge way so I would probably go for this.

I can buy two, but I want to choose one, cause I know that if I buy two there is a possibility that one of them would not get wrist time at all :(

Bro I change watches everyday. I own about 50 high end REPs I use on rotation. But just one, go vintage!

Any rep owners for feedback on the Plexi-Plastic crystal... ie. How's it hold up.
Been seriosly looking at this beauty, but with 7 3/4" wrists, I think the 39mm will look too small.
InT has one from JKF factory (no date/square markers) with a 2836 25J movement...but not sure of JKF quality...

I've had a few vintage reps, either cartel or jkf and the crystals are really bad. They're soft and distort pretty bad. Soberly replace with a t-19 from GS or sternkreuz. It's a simple job with a big improvement.

I don't think you could go wrong with this. Buy the rep and if you are adamant then upgrade to gen?
