It is NOT NOS. This model had an orange second hand originally. And judging by the case, the plating looks bad.
Quick history lesson. These were a variant of the 166. And ended up being a mish mash or things over the course of a couple of years with cases being stamped 168 but having a different case back. The 168 was a chronometer version but some of the 166 were also, making it difficult to track.
Bonus fact, the 168 supposedly got its change of designation and the orange second hand to go along with the ‘68 olympics.
