If you use a Raffles dial that says, "can be used with 3135 date wheel," or something similar, that dial has an opening for the date that fits a genuine dial or his Rolex dimension dial.
If you use a dial meant for a 2824, the date window opening will line up with a 2824 date.
- A crystal for a Rolex spaced date window will fit a dial with Rolex spacing.
- If you use an ETA movement with the standard date, you will need a crystal with a cyclops further outward so it fits ETA spacing.
***Regardless of the movement you use, the date wheel, or date wheel overlay, needs to line up with the dial you use. Whatever dial it is will determine if you need a crystal for a Rolex or ETA.
