No. This is an early 16710, bought in 1989 for $1,895. Made in Geneva. It even has open 6s and 9s, it’s so early. I think the new rep cases and dials are spectacular. Just saluting the new stuff. I showed the profile pic just to show the gen profile.

On the Vietnam case.
What do you do for a Bracelet? It seems the Lug holes are 2mm and the BP bracelet is 1.8mm, What kind of solutions have you seen that work?

1. You can do any of the 93250 bracelets - ironically the sub clasp was available for these builds.

2. You can get on the list for a 78360 Italian bracelet order and then get some 501b rep endlinks.

3. If there’s enough meat on the BP SEL, just use some diamond coated jewelers awls ~1.8mm, 1.9mm, 2.0mm and sand the inside down to fit the 2.0mm spring bars… 0.2mm is nothing!

Agreed. Assuming we’re talking about oyster bracelets and not jubilees 93150 is what was typically used with the hollow end links and the 93250 was used less frequently due to it having SELs. The 78360 model was what they came with in the earlier years.

I have a gen 93150 if anyone needs one via a reserved sale of course.

The correct jubilee for GMTs is the 62510H with a “50” stamped on the last link on the right AND very importantly (and waaay expensive) 502T endlinks. You need these endlinks for the fatter spring bars to fit through. The 555 endlinks that come with most jubilees are for Datejusts and skinnier spring bars.

Ok so don’t bite my head off and tell me to research, use the search tool and read the thread etc etc, so before we fall out I’m only asking, as if I’ve missed it during the reading of all 333 posts then I genuinely apologise….but….ok…. Don’t shout at me guys….

Who else supplies the Vietnam case other than mq (who charges £844)? I’ve messaged Ruby via her website but is that it? MQ and Ruby?

Cheers.

Have you posted this after reading the entire thread you have posted on??

So problems in Vietnam with covid, could make it difficult to get any parts delivered for a while.
