You bought a REPLICA. A copy of the genuine item. With all the verbiage and lettering. It LOOKS JUST LIKE THE GENUINE WATCH. it does not, however, necessarily run or keep time or date perfectly. You paid a tiny fraction of what the GEN cost, to get the look of it. And that's what you got. if you insist on swimming with it, take it to a watch smith who can waterproof it to your demands. I don't know why you'd insist on swimming with it.
