OP, I realize you're upset but I think your expectations are way too high. You're committing a crime (something you already stated) and yet you want customer service as if you bought the real deal? You have to understand the middle ground and be patient. I wouldn't get back to you over the weekend if I were Angus either. He has offered to supply you with whatever customs needs, did you clearly tell him what they are asking for? Perhaps, tomorrow, when all the rest of us normal folk get back to the daily grind you'll find the answers you're looking for in your inbox... :)

sorry, one more time, customs are asking me for papers and receipts for these watches. they are not gens. and did you ever read the "shipping and handling" facts of puretime. they are offering a warranty, so...

Can you claim the watches are genuine, and that you sent them to China for repair? You have postal receipts showing you sent a package to China. They have been repaired and are being shipped back. Tell customs your watch guy in China is so much cheaper than anyone in Germany.

i don't think german customs are that stupid to believe you are sending two 6000€(12.000€ in total) watches to china for repair and than they get back to you by the cheapest way. no no...

You know all you have to provide is proof of purchase so they can charge you the appropriate importation charges. If you provide Paypal proof of receipt along with shipping information, take that along and pay whatever they ask you to pay, they 99% probably wont even open the package.

You're quite right. I should learn to read more thoroughly.

what's about customer care?

i have been several times at german customs and they do open the packages.

What customs deized your items? German "official" or the customs teams of Fedex/UPS/EMS? Big difference....

In the first case, they want to charge you some import tax to finance their company. EMS customs in Hungary (EU) stopped my parcel (AP Diver, PAM104) and requested proof of purchase to file me a large bill. I had written a formal letter in the name of the seller, signed it and clearly stated that the watches are toy watches sent as a gift for the birthday of my Son (existing, but 5 years old. you have to start collecting early, don't ya?) and their value is 40 USD. Customs cleared the parcel and I got it in 2 days. They opened and examined the package, BTW.

If official customs open the package, they most probably need proof that the watch is yours and/or its not fake. Especially in Germany, Switz customs are well aware of counterfeit goods.... Which means most probably you won't get away with them and they will be confiscated.
