Coming from you guys does mean a lot! Thanks for the guidance! I guess the quality of the outcome depends on how much you enjoy going through the process, and i did enjoy it a lot! Learned a great deal all through out as well!

Thank you! It still has much work to do to be honest, but im bery happy with it as of the moment. Cant help myself to keep looking at it. A few work i have listed to finish it off;

1. Re-apply indices with better lume kit. Not totally happy with lobtime’s lume kit. Ill get the kit from noctilumina. It would be great for future projects as well. Vintage mostly.

2. Case back replacement. Hard pressed to get this one actually, i asked around for case backs for a 7016 and only bivintage and phong has them. My case back and bivint’s look the same, font and everything. Id presume the dimensions are the same. And then we have one from phong. It looks the bomb with the quality of engraving and fonts used. Problem i have is that i dont know the source of my case so i dont know if it would fit. Im more than happy to take measurements of my case and ask mr phong if his would fit. But he doesnt want to talk to me, what more taking dimensions of his caseback. If it was cheap id be more than happy to just try my luck with it, but its far from cheap and i hate wasting money.

By the way here’s the details of the movement currently in it and what i know about it;

1. Decorated tudor on the rotor
2. Looks like what an apparent 2483 would look like
3. Takes on a gen balance wheel from an eta 2451
4. Engraved 2483 on what i think is the main plate
5. No eta engravings anywhere else
6. Takes gen eta 2451 winding stem
7. Not sure if this is gen or a clone, with the quality of reps ive seen.

Yeah, it's GEN ETA and I don't think anyone even made a clone 2483! Look after it! In fact, if I am not wrong, the ETA 2483 was Tudor specific, so it would have to be GEN Tudor as well :D

Great to hear it from you guys! Its hard enough to get a good reference about this movement as eta dont even have details about this. Parts hunting starts! Luckily theres plenty of parts for the 2451 so it wont be too hard. With regards to the balance wheel, theres 2 types that keeps coming up for the 24xx family, one with studs and one without. I assume both would fit but regulating would be a different approach? I dont know if it is relevant but does the color of the wheel matter as well? I asked julesborel for help on parts for this before and he asked me about the color of the wheel. Ill try to get a bunch of balance complete sets as i think this is the most common point of failure with impact related damages.
