I'm expecting one next week and i will post my opinion on it.
They seem quite similar. Other than the big tell with the inner ring not having bold 60,15,30 and 45 markers.

Yup. Gorgeous beautifull blue dial guys.

It's so difficult to actually take a photo of this dial it seems.

There is a pretty big glaring flaw with where the outside minutes track meets the dial.
The design is that the minutes track is slightly indented around the outside circumference of the dial.
On the gen, the edge where this indentation begins is more pronounced compared to the rep. On the rep, it usually looks like the minute track is flush flat with the dial.OIn the gen, it is obvious that the minute track is indented around the dial. This is a major tell.
Aside from this, the case shape is different. The bevelling is more angled on the gen compared to the rep.

I have the rep and have held the gen in person. I'd say the colour of the dial is not noticeably different, maybe even identical. After leaving it at the bottom of my backpack, it has gained some scratches, which apparently is also true to gen!
Any watch you leave in the bottom of a backpack will be scratched….
