Slowlex: no, not yet. :(

should have it by Friday. On a side note, The strap it comes with feels similar to my guess collection Swiss watch strap. Not that great but I will have to do until Friday.

Reppy:

My watch is noisy. I think It's coming from the rotor AND maybe the spring bars.

Strap came in today. Very nice upgrade indeed!
The new strap eliminated the noise coming from spring bar. Any noise now is coming from the rotor. Still very happy with this watch. I will probably wear this more than my pám292.

Absolutely love my 572. Perfect size. Having issues with the crown though...

I never have a rep Pam with off-axis micro rotor before. Is it consistently reliable? How many days are the power reserve for the V9F 572? 2 days? Is the micro rotor noisy? Thanks!

I have received mine and I love it. But I have a problem. Yesterday at 6 pm he stopped. Since then it is very late. More than 20 minutes per hour.
Has anyone had any similar problems?

On Monday I will take it to my watchmaker to check it completely.
But I don't know if it's an exclusive problem with my watch or the model.

Here you are on OEM black croco and Gen asso strap.

It looks beautiful on the Gen Asso strap! How much did both straps cost?

How reliable is the movement on this watch? I am not sure how good are custom as genuine movements. I read somewhere on the forum to stay with base Asian movements like 2824, 2836, 6497 etc.

thanks

Yes those you have mentioned are more reliable however there are no 2824-2 or 2836-2 reps in Panerais. 6497 reps have become rare now so your only bet is more or less custom movements. However they have proven to be reliable overall at least there are no major complaints. Of course you will have bad movements here and there but the majority of them are just fine.

So, did we manage to figure out what is the difference between V9F and SF versions? Are they both same?

also finding it hard to decide between Pam572 and Pam388. Not sure which one to buy? Appreciate any help to let me decide to pick one.

Thanks

The older Radiomir cases with wirelugs wear a bit larger and thicker, whereas the 1940 style lugs make the watch a bit easier to wear.

Pam388 is manual wound (something that bugs me a bit) and 572 is self winding.

I'd go for the 572, but you can always buy both and just sell the one that you dont like.

Thanks for your response. But 388 is also automatic and quite thick but 572 has off center rotor.

What's your definition of automatic though? 388 is automatic, as in, it doesn't run on quartz, but still requires you to manually wind it every couple days.

572 is self-winding automatic and requires no manual winding.

If you want a full self-winding automatic in a smaller package (42mm) there is always the PAM 904, PAM 927, PAM 906 and a couple others.

What I was trying to say is that Pam388 is self winding and can also be manual wound. See the link below
