V7 will release Ingenieur!

did I miss a new version being released or is the listing incorrect? The linked listing states this is titanium but I thought they didn't make any ingenieur reps in titanium? I actually would LOVE if they made the aqua dial with all titanium construction... I have been eying the watch for several months, my main concern being that it might be too chunky for my relatively small wrists, but if it's titanium I think I would mind it less.Perfect

that's what I thought... bummer. That being said, every pic I see makes me want to order it more and more. Being a French-speaking engineer makes this also seem like an exceptionally appropriate watch for me as well. I'm in the process to get a black dial and after reading the whole thread (very good contributions and contributors) I have a couple of comments/questions I would like to discuss with you guys:
1. Did anyone disassemble a rep to see how it's build, I wonder if it's the same scheme as gen.
2. IXDAO are available in SW200 and ETA2824, but V7 comes in Asia-2892. So wondering if anyone attempted to swap the Asia-2892 for Sellita or gen ETA 2892-A2.
3. On the same note, Asia-2892 is a rep of ETA 2892-A2, which apparently has the same dims as gen IWC32110. Did anyone attempted to do the first franken?
4. Same for the dial, did anyone attempted to swap rep dial for gen?
5. Finally, would you say that V7 Ingenieur v2 is a super rep or first class++?

Can I ask what payment you used? If I use Euro it shows like 396. But these Hongkong Dollar is more like 370€... I guess fees will make it go to about the same then.

I had the chance to try on these stunning IWC watches. The annual calendar is just awesome. But a hefty price tag. Looking to get my first rep for the Ingenier.

Aqua/Turquoise is not Blue. Aqua/Turquoise is fine, the blue one is not.

I think it will be fine. A2892 have been swapped with Sw300 before but like I say, must pay attention to the pinion height.
In old V7 Mark XX the pinion height was not stock SW300 height so it must be swapped over.
It's possible. But I said I didn't see anyone on forum do it for this specific model so far. If anyone has, please link me the post/thread so I can save it for future reference for members

I do my own legwork, I know how to use the search function and I haven't been rude to any member. I might be new here but I think forums are places to create community and help each other, as an amateur watchmaker I have questions about the rep world which is very new to me...
Anyways no worth having an argument, as this thread is about the Ingenieur and not about being rude to other RWI members!
