He valve looks darker on gen.

Yes, the HE valve is darker on the gen. The gen HE valve and crown is darker color than it's case, while in the rep, the HE valve and crown is the same color as the rep case.

And caseback engraving differences too. But still looking gooood.

Yeah, caseback engraving has very slight differences with the gen, the rep looks slightly thicker but it's very very close to gen.

Looking a lot better than what I was expecting after I read the ZF thread on RG. How's the lume? Is it at least as good as the noob PO or BB ?

The lume application on the bezel triangle has some uneven application, it's not very bright as some noob reps but rather closer to the glow of the recent noob 114060 that I have.

Dial print, bezel clarity, clarity on the hands (hour in particular). How is the lume on the indices in normal light? Looks worryingly ever so slightly greeny like the sinn u1 reps from the BP fac

The lume indices and the bezel lume all looks white in normal light, no traces of green whatsoever. Side-by-side thought with the gen, the rep is less brighter white than the gen.

Thanks for the comparison pics. I guess that at some time I'll develop an eye for these details, but for now they both look about exactly the same (okay the He valve does look darker on gen). I tried on the gen Pelagos and the gen Date Just II at the same time and it may have been a mistake because the Date Just II felt way better and more substantial than the Pelagos. It's an unfair comparison since one is titanium and the other stainless steel, or I may have been buying into the Rolex brand thing...but I came away with an itch for a Date Just II black dial...

Free opinion on a free web: at $268 - $318 it would be well priced, allowing for the minor flaws included and putting $50 in for the special clasp mechanism and lumed bezel. Everything else is overpriced - imo. Including shipping EU profits a $373 sale for a TD. At the price it´s tagged I´m not getting it, so it´s a $0 - sale. Just think about it.:adoration:

very impressive quality from the makers. The bezel printing is ever so slightly off for the numerals but everything else really looks spot on.
Not really a tudor fan, but none the less, good job by the makers!

Yep, gen on bracelet. You have excellent eye for details and pointed out something that's not obvious with the photos, the gen dial print is really bright and that makes it nicer than the rep. The other thing about the dial is that the gen hour markers have a concave lume application while the rep hour markers are flat.
