Well, not that I owe anyone an explanation for what I do for my watches but like what
@W47chl0v3r mentioned, the obvious intention is to protect the bezel, case and bracelet of the watch, which are prone to scratches. I do this for all my gen Royal Oaks including this one.
It is an obvious answer, and the kind you will get when asking someone why he is sleeping or having breakfast or breathing normally or just a random passerby why he exists.
With that out of the way, remember I will do as I please with my watches, and if you disagree, I invite you to get your own gen Royal Oaks, and wear the hell out of them yourself if that is your thing and enjoy the process. Nobody's business but yours. I don't mind beating up my gen ROOs, but I prefer to keep the Royal Oaks in pristine condition because it is how they can be optimally presented to the world for what they are.
I do get that there are members of all levels of intelligence here, and in order to be inclusive for even the most asinine ones, I have replied you at face value. Hope this helps. If it does not, do raise a helpdesk ticket to escalate your concerns that Legend puts protective stickers on his APs, and maybe someone can respond to you better.
