Haha, when I have a similar dilemma then I usually end up with buying another watch.After seeing this makes me rethink to swap out my black to gray dial.
It may not be apparent in the pic or on its own but the grey dial color is completely different from the gen. Not saying that it isn’t nice on its own, it is.After seeing this makes me rethink to swap out my black to gray dial.
The datewheel background color is also 2 shades too dark at least. Grey is a color the rep makers seem to have the most trouble getting right.
My gen grey for reference. The rep grey color just needs to be finetuned and the datewheel color made lighter and it’ll be nice improvements visually.

This is really tempting! After having the blue 15202, I realized that I like dials that has better light play. 15XXX get scratched to oblivion... stickers make that not happen. How is that hard to understand?
Well, not that I owe anyone an explanation for what I do for my watches but like what @W47chl0v3r mentioned, the obvious intention is to protect the bezel, case and bracelet of the watch, which are prone to scratches. I do this for all my gen Royal Oaks including this one.
It is an obvious answer, and the kind you will get when asking someone why he is sleeping or having breakfast or breathing normally or just a random passerby why he exists.
With that out of the way, remember I will do as I please with my watches, and if you disagree, I invite you to get your own gen Royal Oaks, and wear the hell out of them yourself if that is your thing and enjoy the process. Nobody's business but yours. I don't mind beating up my gen ROOs, but I prefer to keep the Royal Oaks in pristine condition because it is how they can be optimally presented to the world for what they are.
I do get that there are members of all levels of intelligence here, and in order to be inclusive for even the most asinine ones, I have replied you at face value. Hope this helps. If it does not, do raise a helpdesk ticket to escalate your concerns that Legend puts protective stickers on his APs, and maybe someone can respond to you better.

Luckily for me modern society is setup in a way that cater for even 'the most asinine ones' and I guess that's also why there are stickers to put on watches.
