Thank you so much. If I could like your post twice I would. Really helpful in determining fit.Well this is a standard 42mm offshore against a 15202, the 26170 is almost double the thickness. @Reaps
I tried on gen ROO 42mm from a friend, its suprisingly wearable, but I agree, the rep thickness makes it more difficult to wear, which is why I'm also planning to find someone to case back thin the rep for me, remove deco + replace rotor, i want to try and get it to 14.5mm or less..Remember that the AP ROO 42 rep is thicker than gen since it needs room for the 7750. Wears much bigger than a Royal Oak

The JF ROO reps do have deco plates. So typically to achieve a sub 15 thickness these plates are removed and the decorated rotor replaced with a thinner and plain ETA one.. however this typically creates the issue of the rotor being too light and ineffective in auto-charging the watch movement. You’re saying it is possible to remove the rotor and deco plate when 42mm ROO have no deco plate to begin with?? Maybe I’m remembering wrong but no such deco plate on these lol.
I have a large wrist so I find them to fit well. But if you're wearing it with a dress shirt, the RO tucks in easier.I tried on gen ROO 42mm from a friend, its suprisingly wearable, but I agree, the rep thickness makes it more difficult to wear, which is why I'm also planning to find someone to case back thin the rep for me, remove deco + replace rotor, i want to try and get it to 14.5mm or less..
I do prefer the Noob ROO to the JF ones in general. They made several models which were rather accurate.Mine is a NOOB 42mm one which explains it.
They also made some that were breathtakingly horribleI do prefer the Noob ROO to the JF ones in general. They made several models which were rather accurate.
Indeed true. And like idiots we used to snap them up then given the lack of choicesThey also made some that were breathtakingly horrible
Your wrist is around my size and I fully agree. But I just accept the overhang . I wear 44mm and 42mm Panerai. And honestly since I workout, big watches look fine when in mirror and in a body shot since my forearms and biceps fit with the watch.
I can understand ! The point of view is important you've right. What you see from the top is different than what people see. I just like to see a bit of the strap from the top but it's me. I'm not a small guy (a good shape 191cm/6.3ft and 90kg/200p), so it's only about taste or style you've right. As long as people are warned when purchasing an AP to avoid surprises.
