It’s a Franken with Gen Dial/Tachy/Hands and LWO Movement. With the open Caseback you will have a look on the LWO.

Was the diver caseback shaved when you Frankened it? I actually never thought to put a diver caseback on the ROO. It is a good idea considering the JF come with super thick casebacks now.

I like the uniqueness of the look.
Alternatively, you can use a black ceramic bezel, as well as ceramic crown and pushers, and using a SS midcase/caseback for the contrast.
It is what I will do if I am to build a panda franken, both to modernize the classic model and also to create a look customized for my personal preference.
The thing about the panda is that it is versatile and am able to take a lot of customization compared with other ROO models.

thats true, very versatile. i was thinking that too. i tried a silver bezel once but did not amaze me at all. a black tachy will also look nice. i found a mock up with a panda and black bezel.. i tried silver screws and silver bezel and for the time i was waiting for my mikey hands ai wore rep rep dials on my LWO with random lwo hands just to have something to wear. i liked the classic navy very much. the pure white dial pops really nicely.
