Likely the hands and dial are from different set and subject to different wear. But don’t worry about it, I see it as a distinctive feature rather than a flaw. You may want to look into the date cut out and cyclop instead. In the 3126/3840 cal the cut out should be square instead of rectangle. Also look into upgrading the cyclop to complete the look of the franken.
Else the oddity of the watch is apparent even if the hand color match the markers.
Check out my gen Safari.

Thx mate for the advice, I got it from the previous owner stated a Mk3 cyclop is used here. Do you suggest a Prof cyclop or a Mikey cyclop would be a upgrade?

And gen safari is so beautiful simply my favourite roo. You seem to have a gen of every AP reference lol.

I want to be legend some day.

The mk3 which was my cyclop was a lot less accurate for modern ROOs and I will advise you to consider using the prof one which works a lot better for contemporary ROOs.
Somehow the gen Safari cyclop seems rather flat to me and for this the prof cyclop will serve well.
I think that your safari just needs a touch up round the cyclop/dw window area and it’ll be very awesome as well. The square dw cut out was available from Mikey too, not sure if he still has it now.
If you need any help feel free to PM me Peter. I’ll do what I can for your beautiful builds.

Nice franken and gen old school Safaris both.

The gold tint to the white gold gen hands on Peter’s franken is likely due to the vintaging of the rhodium plating, and can be easily fixed with some gentle prep and plating in rhodium. Rhodium plating solution is more expensive than gold lately for some reason.

All other details easily addressed...

57 Street.

My favorite rubberclad model.
The tachy trim exchanges the appearance of one flaw for another, but looks wise it does not stop your 57th from looking nice.
So far among the watches you have shown I think this looks the nicest. Stick to modded reps if you cannot get gen hands, or you will be spending serious money and still getting imperfect looking watches.
Your 57th st and diver both look decent for what they are. Keep it up!
