Yes indeed.
Putting any other hand on an AP franken will be like a band-aid solution and though there are other tells, we cannot avoid looking at the hands each time we see the watch.
This is a nice piece. My only suggestion is that maybe you want to consider installing a datewheel surround plate to make the datewheel surround appear square instead of rectangular.
