if you had one and you sent it to service it it would probably come back with that dw which, if you ask me, would be more correct than any other.

I do like it. Looks like an ROO which has been serviced. AP does replace all classic datewheels with modern font ones during service and you will see more and more of this datewheel types on classic models.
