Congrats on the acquisition, it’s a beauty! The blue tint on the dial and tachy have some really nice deep tones. AP does this color so well— any blue dialed AP is inherently collectible...

And I thought you swore off rubber buttoned Offshores. Worth breaking your rule for this one. Especially with the historical use of Bayer therban in the original...

Still enjoying The Beast.
I can now understand why it is the quintessential ROO after spending some time with it. A timeless dial, a myriad of blue under different lightings, and mini tapisseries are a stark contrast with the large ones found in modern day ROOs. Everything encased in the familiar and muscular steel octagon. It’s an understated watch and one worn truly to please the owner and nobody else. It embodies the spirit of the AP ROO better than any other Offshores I’ve ever owned. The wait was well worth it.
