Obama Hussein Barrack, our first black president. My God! From a community organizer to President. I don't know about you, but I have a bad feeling about this.

Now let the games begin.

Oh that's complete bullshit for any of us as it doesn't pertain to us. If anyone on this board is worried about their well earned money being targeted for "weath-distribution" as you make 250K+ a year, then fuck you. What the fuck are you doing collecting reps to begin with? This election is really only historic in terms of the race issue; which proved to be a fairly non-issue for most Americans anyway, at least for the voting ones. Regardless of who was running, it was a matter of 3~5% tax break for either the rich fucknuts or poor fucknuts. The middle class is fucked eitherway. McCain's track record as a Republican was always a joke, and his supposed "maverickiness" was as maverick as Jackie Chan is Irish; pancake flip-flopping geezer. And, he just never had a solid rhetoric or even a consistent party line. How do you trust someone like that? Obama's rhetoric is good, but his energy policy sucks and his exit strategy is naive to say the least, as he doesn't account for infrastructure for revenue that will be lost in the middle east, which is a significant investment for USD fundamentals. The latter affecting all Americans, rich, mid, and poor.

If you're right, vote Libertarian, if you're left, vote Green. Enough of this two party system bullshit. I'm happy a racial minority won for a change, just because it's different and kinda nice, but as for daily issues are concerned, same shit, different day... Don't get me wrong, it still is a historic moment for African Americans, but as he said, I root for ALL Americans; I'm happy that people just hated eachother for the usual stupid reasons and the race issues wasn't one of the top reasons for a change. (for some of you it may have been; and if that was the case, fuck you!) But again, as for efficiency in policy changes, NOTHING will be that different. If fuckin' Flava Flav got elected, it would still be better than the Bush tribe. At least Flava Flav can lume dials.

For real change, you all need to vote for me, and send me all your watches.

Rant over.

Hey drfcfighter

Isn't it only 150k / house hold ?
.. which is not a huge amount depending on where you live (if you say a wife and kid)

my numbers might be mixed up, but I thought recently the number shifted to 150K and upset a lot of ppl.. (apparently not that much.. ala the final vote total.. )

there's much bull about both canadates going around I can't keep my facts straight.

He'd be even a bigger numbnut if he endorsed $150K/household. So, no, it's reduction for <200k/hh, same for 200k~249k/hh, and mild increase for 250k/hh. Like I said, if a household makes 250k/yr and you're collecting reps, fuck you! (not you 7thex) As for facts getting muddy, I always have a good habit of skepticism where I question every source. So I'd really question whoever started the 150k rumor. Republicans' fabrication of statistics is widely known since Lincoln died. No less than the Democrats' whininess without solution-focused executions. I mean the noneducated righties started that Obama is a Muslim rumor, which most noneducated folk believed, because it appears to be face valid. No different than the Democrats' whininess.

Prime example are the debates. Whenever any of these numbnuts claim that the other did or did not vote for something is always unfounded. When a bill is proposed to the floor, it is glued with many other legis-proposals, and any of which can hold the floor indefinitely if one of teh prosposals conflict with the party line or individual views. So essentially, the public gets seldom exposed to the details of the entire bill proposal, leaving both parties to hold ammunition where they see fit.

Bottom line, vote for me, I'm gonna run Independent next term. I'll make PAMs, Rolexes, and Breitlings much more affordable for anyone who makes <250K.

The contempt in this thread for people who have had success in their lives is disheartening. Not everyone who makes 250+ did so by stepping on others, just saying. And as much as i disagree with most of his proposed policies, he will be my President and I wish him/us the best. On other boards completely unrelated to watches, I see some people who want doom and gloom just so they can say I told you so. Party allegiance is silliness, i belong to the American party, plain and simple. Peace.
