botsyboy do you perhaps have a pic of one of your gens from this angle? Even of your VSF for comparison maybe. Would be much appreciated

Anyone know what movement is in these? The TD’s list it as a modified 2824 but I’m doubting that as mine has the instant date change at 12 making me think it’s a 2836?

That's a spring bar alignment issue. The lugs are fine. Look at the top of the bracelet SEL - you can see the misalignment starts there. I've checked both my VSF and gen SMP with bracelet and they do not have this problem.

OldNavitimer yes its most definitely the lug holes that were drilled too low. I dont think that can be fixed without serious modding. Kinda sux as if I ever get hold of gen SEL, it would still look incorrect. But glad to hear most people’s dont have this issue. So i’ll maybe get a second one with better SEL allignment, throw this one on a Nato and sell the bracelet.

U.K.
I received a blue vsf last week and do have to say that it appears the lume has improved. Not quite crisp white but way better.
Don’t have a gen to compare at the moment. Biggest thing for me though are the detailing of the polished strips on the sel being too rounded. Need to match the bracelet and have a flatter profile.

I agree with you on the SEL being wrong. another member mentioned that the OMF seamaster's SEL seem to look more like gen. so maybe that can fix it up nicely. but then also running the risk of it not aligning properly. maybe a V3 is in order after all :)

Yeah... my white dial version has the yellowish markers in certain lighting conditions ( Interior fluorescent bulbs make it look the worst ) . It would be nice to see them fix this issue and a few other issues in a Version 3...
