I have never seen a gen in the flesh. however there are plenty of pics online where gen also has yellow/creamy lume. maybe not to the extend the rep has. theres also n video posted recently in the original VSF seamaster 300m thread that also highlites that. but I believe you since you had three of them. would you say yours had perfect pure white lume? never a yellow tint ever in any lighting? and do you have the rep, or only see the crappy lume pics of the rep?
I’ve had the blue dial, black dial and grey dial in gen and all had crisp white lume in daylight whereas the vsf’s are never crisp white in the same conditions. I’ve also had 2 vsf reps so I do know what I’m talking about. You can never judge anything by pictures as white balance etc throws out the real colour tone.
Too many on here are quick to say things purely looking at adjusted online pics!
When the lume is charged on both the rep and gen in certain conditions they will look similar but that wasn’t the original complaint. Many including me commented that even in daylight the vsf lume has what I would call greeny/yellow colour tone because vsf have used a blended mix of lume.
