PPF has the box logo so we are talking about the more recent batches (MK4). Like Goat said, given the scarcity of the gen watch, this PPF dial is probably worth the pennies.

Just received my tracking number for my V4 on order. I should get it by midweek and will be sure to share pics then.
Soo after some reading, i pulled the trigger on a V4.
was wondering what mods you think a V4 should we do to make it as good as possible without gen parts?

I would mix it with a PF but of course this will cost some bucks. But you can sell the donor watch when the mod is finished.

Thanks for all the info on this thread. I love the blue dial 5711 but given its really tough to replicate, I’ve really been thinking about pulling the trigger on a white dial.
Would love to get the 3K model as I love having gen thickness. Myself and quite a few others have had the aquanaut and the movement seems to be doing quite well after 5-6 months. I know it needs more time but so far I’m very happy with it as are others. The bracelet issue on the 3kf models is a deal breaker as it’s pretty much an instant tell at least to my eyes. Hopefully they can correct this issue soon as I think the 3K model would make an excellent base to franken with.
In the meantime there’s not really anything that can be done to fix this issue with the 3K is there? I assumed a mod wouldn’t be able to do so and a factory fix would be needed.

Nope, but there are also other tells on the 3K which cannot be fixed. But hey, the 3K Nautilus is one breath-taking watch I am sure. It is very nicely finished.

Some members were able to source just the dial and hands from PPF through their TDs to build a hybrid PF/PPF. Keylog DWO is also required.
does a ppf case take a pf bracelet? i just got my ppf v3 white dial and i do think its lacking. i do think it needs a little more heftiness to it.

Not sure about that but I do know the PF case does take the PPF bracelet. I believe there is currently a PF bracelet for sale on m2m here, but would also encourage you to just buy the PF watch and make it hybrid.

An very experienced technician can refinish and reshape it to be very gen like as the PPF hardly has any bevel compared to the gen. Even on the PF you want to reshape it too.
To me it is not just the fat bezel but the combination of the proportions of the bezel and the bevel

The band is not wide enough, it should be flush with the case. It’s a very slight flaw but once you notice it you cannot take your eyes off of it.
Man, I always thought this on my v2 but figured it was more because my wrist was small. Glad I'm not going nuts.

So holding on to this V2 until the band issue is solved ugh..
Dial V2 = Dial V4
They are same.

Aren't V2 and V3 dial the same since the V3 upgrade from V2 was solely on the movement bridge decoration?
